Based in ATLANTA, Georgia- JosiahKids is a nontraditional young leadership nonprofit committed to the mission of raising the next generation of service-minded leaders. From September through May, on the first and third Saturdays of the month, JosiahKids hosts a myriad of educational classes and events that include quality guest speakers, community service events, panel discussions, educational workshops, and leadership classes in a faith-based environment for young people between the ages of seven and 17. It's hard to believe, but more than 103,000 people are currently experiencing food insecurity in Gwinnett County alone. Unfortunately, 51,000 of those are children who have absolutely no idea where their next meal is coming from. Our students are currently conducting neighborhood food drives to benefit our local food bank and those less fortunate than we are this season. JosiahKids and Influencers Kids combined forces to pioneer for the first time ever, a young leader course that would help young people grow in their God given leadership abilities. We're so excited to see how these young leaders have grown over the course of the 8-weeks, and the amazing impact their lives are going to have on their families, communities, and the kingdom of God. A major thank you to Pastors Ashley and Jane Evans, Global Sr. Pastors of Influencers Church, and Pastors Dan & Nat Nowak - Incredible Children's Pastors at Influencers Church for seeing the value of this partnership, and putting in the necessary work that helped us implement this pilot program early this Spring.
